Leaving Coal Harbour

Leaving Coal Harbour

Boats like this don't really do it for me. It's not that I don't like boating, it's just that boats like these seem to be more for show than anything else. Kind of pompous really. Nevertheless, I thought I could get a fairly decent shot of the boat, Coal Harbour, and the sunset - but I ended up with a really mediocre shot with a blurry boat, an obscured harbour and a blown out sky.

Given that, there's really no reason that I should put it up here. But, since I haven't taken a lot of pictures recently and the fact that I thought I could manipulate this shot into something interesting, I decided to try. In the end, it's ok, but not great.

Colour-correction, coloured gradient added to sky in Photoshop.
