Oceanfront Construction

Oceanfront Construction

Continuing with the slight North Shore theme that's been going on here lately, you can see more of North Vancouver's industrial shoreline across the water with the beginnings of construction on the new Vancouver convention centre on this side.

This shot was taken in the middle of December and I think this shot sums up west coast Canada in deepest, darkest winter. Some heavy cloud, some rain (though it's not raining in the photo) and little, amazing bursts of sunshine. That, and it never gets too cold to wear shorts if you really want to.

Colour-correction, sharpening, cropping in Photoshop.
