Looking Past Shaw

Looking Past Shaw

It's unfortunate that the gigantic Shaw Tower is on the water's edge because it's blocking the view of other buildings. Therefor, when I go up top, I have to shoot around it. In this shot I managed to incorporate it a bit and it works fairly well. I think anyway.

This is looking north-west and that dark patch of trees is Brockton Point in Stanley Park.

Oh, and that crane isn't just hanging in the middle of nowhere, the lower part of it is painted black and is lost in the dark background. It kind of looks like it was cloned in there, but it wasn't.

Fuji Velvia 100, scanned, colour corrected, sharpened in Photoshop CS3.
