Corner Gas

Corner Gas

After my last post and rant about automobiles, what better to put up next than a shot of a gas station. Except, this is obviously not your normal gas station. It's one out in the water near Stanley Park and feeds the crazy number of marinas that are crammed into Coal Harbour. This shot from the other day shows two of the stations and how close they are to Stanley Park. I think there are three in total, but I could be wrong. I'll have to check next time.

As it stands it reads like an ad for ESSO, which kind of turns me off but then again, not so off that I won't post it. I could have removed the branding in Photoshop, but it would have been obvious anyway. Not too many oil companies with big oval logos.

Fuji Velvia 100, scanned, colour corrected, sharpened in Photoshop CS3.
