The Top of Grouse

The Top of Grouse

Zoomed right in on the top of Grouse Mountain and the lights that brighten the peak at night. The clouds were really strange as the sky was clear and it was clear at ground level - but there was a layer of clouds around the waist of the mountains.

As the light faded, I took a long exposure that I wasn't sure was going to come out. I exposed for the top of the mountain and hoped the rest would work out. Turns out it did.

Fuji Velvia 100, scanned, colour corrected, sharpened in Photoshop CS3.
