Summer Afternoons

Summer Afternoons

Sorry for not posting for a couple of days, but I've been so swamped with work that I've had no time for anything else.

There were pluses and minuses to trying to get this shot: I almost wasn't able to get anything as the sun was just above frame and beaming straight in but the trees at the other side of the lake provided a dark background and allowed me to highlight the skier.

All in all, I like the effect but the bottom half is far more interesting to me than the top.

Fuji Velvia 100, scanned, colour corrected, sharpened in Photoshop CS3.
