Hastings on High
A view of Hastings street taken from the top of the Marine Building which was once the tallest building in the British Empire. Now it's pretty much dwarfed by every other buiding around it.
The newer buildings may be taller but they don't have anywhere near the amazing craftsmanship that went into early twentieth century "skyscrapers".
Sixty years ago that word wouldn't have had to have quotes around it.
