Burrard Street

Burrard Street

Looking south down Burrard Street from the top of the Marine Buiding. Because it's an old building it has heavy stone railings around the balconies that are near the top and, combined with a downtown view, give it a real New York kind of feel. You can just sit there and look off at the other buildings and listen to the traffic which sounds far away and echoes up through the buildings. Because you're not in the traffic it sounds almost nice.

The balcony that I was on was part of a floor that has some buiding mechanical and an office. What I would give to be able to turn that into a penthouse apartment. The stuff of dreams.

A very city moment.
