Queen of Saanich

Queen of Saanich

Last weekend a friend of a friend flew us over to Vancouver Island and Victoria. I've never been in a small plane before (only helicopters) so it was an awesome experience.

The only bad part was that the flight was so short - it only takes 30 minutes to get across. The view was really cool and it was neat seeing the whole lower mainland laid out below us. There was a bit of a haze and I was shooting through the windows of the plane, so some of the shots didn't come out very well but I got a few that are decent enough to post.

This is the Queen of Saanich nearing the Sydney ferry terminal.

Thanks Dave, Nicole and Iana for the invite and the awesome time.
