Helijet Takes Off

Helijet Takes Off

I took a break from work yesterday (on a sunday, what a slacker!) and went down to Canada Place for a couple of hours to snap some evening photos. It was amazingly beautiful and calming. Almost all of my shots were long exposures trying to balance the light in the sky and the lights from the city.

In the middle of a 20 second exposure, the Helijet wound up to take off and I was just able to get finish that shot, swing my tripod around, and get a shot of it taking off. If I had been a little earlier it would have been better, but I like this shot all the same. There's always next time.
