Barclay in the Autumn

For years I've tried to capture the trees that fill my street with colour every fall but I never could quite get it right. I wanted to capture the colours but I also wanted to capture the scale of them as well.

The entire street, up and down, is filled with gold, orange and red leaves for weeks. The trees are huge and there is nowhere to back up and get a grand view. This is the best I've been able to come up with so far. It still doesn't convey what it's like to walk for blocks with leaves surrounding you, but I guess that's a lot to ask out of a single picture. For the record, this is three photos stitched together.

Maybe if I get a D90, I could take a video of a walk down Barclay. Next fall perhaps...
