Trevi Fountain

Trevi Fountain

Tourists throw roughly 3000 euros a day into Trevi Fountain which is the terminus of the modern incarnation of the ancient Roman aqueduct, the Aqua Virgo.

[1.12.12] EDIT: I reprocessed this photo because I was never happy with the proportions of the Palazzo Poli - the building that provides the backdrop for the fountain - and the image was just too murky and dark. The proportions were wrong because this is a stitched panorama made from nine photos. Not only that, but I hand held the camera so the pano wasn't as easy to stitch as it could have been. In the end, it was a fair amount of work but I am happier with the result.

A colour version can be found as well and I'm much happier with how that one looks compared to the old version.
