Just a super quick post. This is a street near where I used to live in Freiburg. The church you see in the background is the Münster. It was finished around 1230 and has a bell, one of sixteen, that weighs over 3000 kilos.
The scaffolding you see wrapped around the top is for it's restoration which has been ongoing for a long time. Considering how old the cathedral is, that shouldn't be so surprising.
