House at the End of the Road

House at the End of the Road

Day 10. Sort of.

I missed a few days on the twelve days of Christmas thing but there's no reason why I can't get them out now. After all, it's still winter isn't it? This is the crappy time when the holidays are over but there are still months of cold weather to come. The dog days of winter maybe. God, what a broken analogy that was. Anyway, there's no reason that we can't pretend it's still "that time of year" if only for the sake of the next three photos.

Good tidings, everyone!

Well, this is part of the path I took to get to this spot. An amazing path it was to walk. So calm, so quiet, so much warmer during the day than at night.

We've kind of lost our German winter wonderland look a bit here. It hasn't rained but it warmed up enough that things are starting to melt. Not too bad but if it's going to be cold it might as well look more like a postcard.
