Planet Baden

Planet Baden

On the same night that I shot this and this, I took another series of shots to stitch together into a full panorama. This image is a little planet version and below is the full Quicktime VR spherical pano of the scene.

The little planet version is cool (they are inherently cool) but I really like the VR version because you can look up at the sky and see the stars. Please check it out and don't forget to zoom in (hit the shift key to zoom in and the ctrl key to zoom out). Sorry, it's a little big (6 megs) but the plus is that zooming in shows more detail. I'll probably upload a more optimized version later.

I think this summer I'll go back to the same spot and do the same thing to give a sense of the different seasons in wine country.
