The End of the World As We Know It

The End of the World As We Know It

It will be little things like this that will be the end of the world as we know it.

It's a bunch of styrofoam wrapped in a plastic bag.

The "eco leaf" logo does not change my mind - especially since the requirements for using the label are unavailable and were supposed to be updated in July of 2003.

It's not so much the bag itself, although it's uselessness should be obvious, it's the mindset that created it, manufactured it, put it in the supply chain and sent it to the company I work for that makes me shake my head.

This is the best that we can do? Expanded polystyrene sealed in a polyethylene bag with a large, green, useless environmental logo?

Of course the logo is green.
