Downtown From Choklit Park

Downtown From Choklit Park

Those familiar with Vancouver can probably spot that this photo was taken a few years ago. Not having been there in a while, I can't tell you what's different now aside from the building in the front probably being long finished. Hell, at the rate of construction in Vancouver, it wouldn't surprise me if half of these buildings had been torn down already and replaced with something bigger.

For a very different perspective on what the downtown looks like, I suggest checking out this photo I took from a plane as it circled past downtown. The spot where i took this photo from, the strangely named Choklit Park, is vaguely in the middle of that photo.

As for the oddly named park, there used to be a chocolate factory on that site but that doesn't explain the spelling.

My other photos from Vancouver can be found in the gallery. Be prepared though, there are a lot of them.
